Graeme Davis

Graeme Davis is a professorial research fellow in humanities at the University of Buckingham, as well as an associate lecturer at the Open University. Teaching includes literature, history, linguistics, stylistics, archaeology and education. He is a specialist in mediaeval language and literature. Research has included Anglo-Saxon and Old Norse/Icelandic language study, the literature of Old English and the historical context of the Viking North Atlantic, while work in Middle English includes the Scots Makars and the language of Scotland. He is editor of the monograph series Contemporary Studies in Descriptive Linguistics and Studies in Historical Linguistics and of Buckingham Journal of Language and Linguistics.
