Nora Parr

Dr Nora Parr is a Postdoctoral Fellow at SOAS, University of London on the AHRC project Creative Multilingualism. She looks at the role of Arabic and World Literature in re-defining critical terms. She was previously Lecturer in Comparative Literature and English at King's College, London; Visiting Fellow in Jordan and Palestine with the Council for British Research in the Levant; and Managing Editor of the Journal of Middle Eastern Literatures. She earned her PhD from SOAS, in Arabic Literature and Palestine Studies. She has articles in the journal of Middle Eastern Literatures, Commonwealth Essays and Studies, and Middle East Topics & Arguments. She sits on editorial sub boards for The Literary Encyclopaedia, and Great Palestinian Figures in History.
