Moira Hansen

I was a Lord Kelvin Adam Smith-funded PhD student, based in Scottish Literature at the University of Glasgow, with a thesis entitled '"Melancholy and low spirits are half my disease": physical and mental health in the life and works of Robert Burns'.

My research interests include the medical humanities, the long eighteenth century (particularly in Scotland), medical and scientific writing during this period, and the life and works of Robert Burns.
