Andrew Rowcroft

Dr Andrew Rowcroft is Associate Lecturer in the School of English & Journalism at the University of Lincoln, UK.

Andrew's research focuses on modern and contemporary American Literature, principally the American novel, and the political economy of culture. He has published on authors such as Thomas Pynchon, John Williams, Jonathan Lethem, Dana Spiotta, Kim Stanley Robinson, and the British novelist China MiƩville. Andrew is currently completing two monographs. His first book, Marxism and the Contemporary Novel, is forthcoming with Edinburgh University Press. His second book, Karl Marx, forms part of the Routledge Critical Thinkers Series. He is planning a third book on Kim Stanley Robinson.
