Kirsty Bolton

Kirsty Bolton is currently in the final year of her PhD at the University of Southampton, where her thesis focuses on Motherhood, Space, and Building in French and Middle English Romance. She has been the Reviews Editor and the Social Media Editor for Cerae: An Australisian Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, and the Editor for Emergence, the University of Southampton's Humanities Graduate Journal.

In May 2019, she received funding from the University of Southampton Doctoral College for an innovative project, Carpe Diem: the Journal in a Day, in which she led a team of postgraduate researchers as they peer reviewed, copy-edited, and published a volume of an academic journal in a single day in order to demystify the academic publishing process for postgraduates.
