Context

At a meeting of the Diet of Nuremberg, the imperial cities and Duke George of Saxony attack the supreme court of the Reichsregiment, complaining that it extracts excessive financial levies. As a result, this attempted solution to political reorganisation in the empire, aimed at creating a united state, is proven to have failed, and it is eventually dissolved in 1531.
