is Elias Khoury’s most recent work, composed of three volumes. The first volume appeared in Arabic in 2016 under the title

Awlad al Ghetto: Ismi Adam

and it was translated two years later by Humphrey Davies as 

The Children of the Ghetto: My Name is Adam

. The second volume was published in 2018 under the title

Awlad al Ghetto: Nijmat al Baher

, or The Children of the Ghetto: The Star of the Sea, and is currently being translated into English, French, and Hebrew. The third and final volume of the trilogy is currently in process of being written. The three volumes are an amalgam of voices and stories from the Palestinian Catastrophe (
