Peter Wilson

Peter Wilson is Academic Leader for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in English Literature and Creative Writing at London Metropolitan University.
His main research interests are in Modernism, Modernist Poetry and Stylistics, interests which are reflected in the books: A Preface to Ezra Pound Longman 1997 (first and subsequent editions)and Mind the Gap: Ellipsis and Stylistic Variation in Spoken and Written English Pearson Education 2000 as well as journal articles and online publications.
Peter sees his own creative writing as practice-based research, particularly with regard to the relation between image and text, exemplified by poems in Reading Six Feet Under (eds. K. Akass and J. McCabe) IB Tauris 2005 and the volume Headless Chic Teknoy Press 2005. His collaborative sketch book material can be viewed online at http://www.dispatx.com.
