Debra Benita Shaw

Debra Benita Shaw is a Reader in Cultural Theory at the University of East London. She is the author of Posthuman Urbanism: Mapping Bodies in Contemporary City Space (Rowman & Littlefield International, 2017), Technoculture: The Key Concepts (Berg, 2008) and Women, Science & Fiction: The Frankenstein Inheritance (Palgrave, 2000). She is also editor (with Maggie Humm) of Radical Space: Exploring Politics and Practice (Rowman & Littlefield International, 2016). She is a founding editor of the Radical Cultural Studies published by Rowman & Littlefield International and has also published widely in urban studies, science and technology studies and science fiction. A new edition of Women, Science and Fiction will be published in 2020.
