Karen Anne Hamnet Green

Karen Green is Associate Professor and Honorary Fellow in the School of Historical and Philosophical Studies at the University of Melbourne. Her most recent books are A History of Women’s Political Thought in Europe, 1400-1700 (Cambridge University Press, 2009) written with Jacqueline Broad, Virtue, Liberty and Toleration: Political Ideas of European Women, 1400-1800 (Springer, 2007) edited with Jacqueline Broad, and a translation and edition of Christine de Pizan’s Book of Peace (Penn State, 2008) with Constant J. Mews and Janice Pinder.
