William Henry Christie

William Christie is Head of the Humanities Research Centre at the Australian National University, a Fellow and Head of the English Section of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, and the foundation President of the Romantic Studies Association of Australasia (2010-2015). Widely published in the area of Romantic studies, his publications include Samuel Taylor Coleridge: A Literary Life (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006) — winner of the 2008 NSW Premier's Award for Literary Scholarship — an edition of The Letters of Francis Jeffrey to Thomas and Jane Welsh Carlyle (Pickering & Chatto, 2008), The Edinburgh Review in the Literary Culture of Romantic Britain (Pickering & Chatto, 2009), Dylan Thomas: A Literary Life (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014), and The Two Romanticisms, and Other Essays (Sydney University Press, 2016).
