Matt Harris holds an MA (First Class Honours) in English from The University of Auckland, and a PhD from Massey University. He has taught a number of papers at Massey University’s Albany campus, where he was nominated for Lecturer of the Year in 2010. Matt’s writing has been published variously, from academic articles in Landfall to creative writing in Poetry New Zealand, Trout, Southern Ocean Review, Kokako, and many others. Most recently his film script 43000 Feet has been selected for a Premiere executive grant from the New Zealand Film Commission, and is to premiere at Tribeca (NY) in April 2012 .
