Charilaos N. Michalopoulos

Charilaos N. Michalopoulos (BA Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, MA and PhD University of Leeds) is Lecturer in Latin at the Democritus University of Thrace. His main research interests include Roman elegy, Ovid, gender studies and classics, and the reception of Latin literature, esp. of the beginning of the 20th century. He has published on Latin poetry of the Augustan age, Seneca, Martial and modern reception of Latin literature. He is author of ‘Myth, language and gender in the Corpus Priapeorum ’ (2014) [in Greek]. He is also a published poet and a reviewer of Modern Greek poetry.
