Michael Minor is a PhD candidate at the University of Manitoba. He holds an MA from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a BAH from Trent University. His dissertation focuses on Aboriginal poetry and its role in contemporary settler-colonial society. Michael also lectures at the University of Manitoba and has delivered conference papers at home in Canada and abroad. When academic duties allow the time required, he also enjoys writing poetry and songs.
