At the Second Diet of Speyer, the Archduke Ferdinand refuses to
make any concessions to the Lutherans. As a result, those assembled
vote to quash the Edict that had been carried at the previous Diet,
of June 1526, and instead to enforce the 1521 Edict of Worms.
