Albrecht Alcibiades, Margrave of Brandenburg-Culmbach, deserts the
Protestant allies with whom he had signed a treaty for a joint
campaign with Henry II against the Emperor. Instead, he
concentrates his attention on more local affairs, pursuing a
private war in Franconia.
