Philip II of Spain delegates the government of the Spanish
Netherlands to Archduke Albert of Austria and his daughter the
Infanta Isabel, for whom a marriage is arranged. They agree that if
the marriage does not produce any heirs, the Netherlands will
revert back to the Spanish Crown.
