Short Note This is a short note

At the Battle of Nördlingen, a Swedish army led by Bernhard of Saxe-Weimar is defeated by Matthias Gallas' Imperial army. 17000 Swedish soldiers die in the fighting. This victory revitalises the Catholic cause in south Germany.
