Short Note This is a short note

British colonists in Virginia rebel against the Governor, William Berkeley, who has been attempting to conciliate the Native Americans. Nathaniel Bacon produces a manifesto, 'Declaration of the People of Virginia', which helps to fuel the rebellion.
