Short Note This is a short note

General Georges Boulanger is forced to retire from the French army after having declared himself a monarchist and met with representatives of the outlawed claimants to the throne. Now the popular reactionary becomes eligible for election to the Chamber of Deputies, and he is voted in almost immediately.
