Paul March-Russell

I teach English and Comparative Literature at the University of Kent, Canterbury. My most recent publication is The Short Story: An Introduction (Edinburgh University Press, 2009). I have previously edited the supernatural stories of May Sinclair and co-edited, with Carmen Casaliggi, a collection of essays on John Ruskin (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2007). Other recent publications include articles on Rudyard Kipling, Edwardian childhood and Joanna Russ. I am the editor of a critical studies series in science fiction, published by Gylphi, details of which can be found at their website. My interest in Douglas Oliver and J.H. Prynne began when I was a PhD student and organised the Valerie Eliot Modern Poetry Collection at the University of Kent.
