Elizabeth M. Sturgeon

Elizabeth M. Sturgeon is an Associate Professor of English at Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles. She has published on Tudor historiography, classical rhetoric, The Mirror for Magistrates, and teaching freshman composition focused on current controversies, particularly, the Abu Ghraib Prison scandal. Her research interests intersect early modern historiography, post-modern literary theory, and digital literacies. She is working on her first book, Ghostly Speech: Writing History and Reading Literature in "The Mirror for Magistrates" (Mellen Publishing).
