John Edward Masterson

I am a lecturer in World Literatures in English in the School of English at the University of Sussex. I have published on contemporary postcolonial writing, including a monograph on Nuruddin Farah, as well as articles and book chapters on writers ranging from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie to Dave Eggers. I am currently working on a new project concerning articulations of Afropolitanism in fiction, as well as a study of 'end times' discourses.
