Jennifer Ferriss-Hill

Jennifer Ferriss-Hill received her A.B. in Classics summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2002, and her Ph.D. in Classical Philology from Harvard University in 2008. She has been Assistant Professor of Classics at the University of Miami since August 2009, having previously taught at Hofstra University and the Latin-Greek Institute at the City University of New York. She has written articles on Catullus, Virgil, Horace, and Old Comedy, and is in the process of publishing her revised dissertation, Poetics and Polemics: Horace's Satiric Idiom and the Comic Tradition, as a book.
