Jacques-Emmanuel Bernard

Jacques-Emmanuel Bernard is Professor at the University of Toulon (France). He has written articles and books on classical rhetoric and latin literature. His main publications are : Le portrait chez Tite-Live. Essai sur une écriture de l'histoire romaine , collection Latomus, 253, Bruxelles, 2000 and La sociabilité épistolaire chez Cicéron , Paris, 2013. He is currently preparing his own contribution to The Companion to Livy , to be published by Willey-Blackwell, Hoboken, New Jersey (United States) in 2014.
