Helen Taylor

Helen Taylor recently received her doctorate for the first major critical work on Adrian Henri and the Merseybeat movement, and is looking to expand on this for post-doctoral research. She has a BA in English Literature & Language from the University of Oxford and took the 'Writing in the Modern Age' MA at Queen Mary, University of London before reading for her PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her research interests include ‘total art’ and cross-medial perspectives, the performance of poetry, oral poetics and the audience, and interactions between high art and low culture in the twentieth century.
