Anne-Louise Russell

ANNE-LOUISE RUSSELL is a PhD student at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, where she also gained her BA (Hons) and MA in English Literature. Her research project examines the work which Mary Elizabeth Braddon, Ellen Wood, Charlotte Riddell and Florence Marryat produced in a unique literary moment between 1872 and 1876, when these successful novelists were the only women who were in the influential position of writing sensation fiction and editing literary magazines.
