Lanie Millar

Lanie Millar is Associate Professor of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Oregon. Her research and teaching focus on Luso-Brazilian, Caribbean, and Latin American literature and culture, on narrative form in the Global South, and on questions of race, coloniality, and empire. She is the author of <<Forms of Disappointment: Cuban and Angolan Narrative After the Cold War>> (SUNY Press, 2019).
