Valérie-Anne Belleflamme

Valérie-Anne Belleflamme is a doctoral student in the English Department of the University of Liège (Belgium) and a member of CEREP, its postcolonial research centre. She is currently engaged in the process of writing a thesis on the ethics and aesthetics of writing in Gail Jones’ literary and scholarly oeuvre.

Her research interests include postcolonial studies and Australian literature. She has published several articles on Jones (available online via the University of Liège’s institutional repository ORBi) and maintains a bibliography of Jones as part of CEREP’s project on online bibliographies of postcolonial writers.

She is also the current Treasurer of EASA, the European Association for Studies of Australia, and has co-edited a special issue of the Association’s journal, JEASA (8.2, 2017).
