Melvyn Bragg, The Right Honourable The Lord Bragg, CH, Hon FRS, FBA, FRSL, is best known in Britain as a television and radio broadcaster. He is also a successful writer of fiction, biography, television scripts, film screenplays, and books on the history of ideas and language.
