Tutor of Pietro Bembo as well as friend and correspondent of Angelo Poliziano and Marsilio Ficino, Giovanni Aurelio Augurello is best known for his vast poetic production in Latin and the vernacular. Born in Rimini, Augurello resided between Padua, Treviso and Venice for most of his adult life. From the scholars and
