“Antistoecharium Cryptaferratense Za III” is a medieval Greek orthographical work which is preserved in its most integral form in a manuscript preserved in cod. Cryptaferratensis Za III, fol. 17r – 46v (14th century, deposited at the Uniate monastery of Saint Nilus, Grottaferrata, Greek: Κρυπτοφέρη, S. Italy). The manuscript preserves the text in a somewhat fuller form with relatively small portions of the text having been lost: i.e. the end of letter N, the entire Ξ and the biggest part of the O (see descriptions in Uhlig 1883: XI-XII; Theodoridis 1976: 53-54). Fragments of the Antistoecharium are also preserved in cod. Monacensis gr. 310, fol. 46r - 51v (9th/10th century, Munich State Library), which provides a text bearing substantial losses of the greatest part of the…
