Born in Nottingham in 1981, Lynda Clark studied at Nottingham Trent University for her BA English Literature degree followed by an MA and a PhD in Creative Writing. She has also worked in book selling and in the video game industry. Clark currently lives in Dundee, Scotland, where she works as a Research and Development Fellow in Narrative and Play for InGame: Innovation for Games and Media Enterprise, at the University of Dundee. Clark’s debut novel, 

Beyond Kidding,

raises important questions such as: can a man who is single and carefree be interested in fatherhood? Do we project our best selves using our existing technologies, and if so, do we do damage to ourselves in the process? In this sense, are we like Frankenstein and his monster?
