Carl Gyllenborg, the Swedish Ambassador in London, is arrested
for suspected collaboration in a Jacobite plot. The British
authorities suspect Goertz, the Swedish Minister at the Hague, of
plotting with Spain to help James Edward Stuart launch another
invasion of England.
